So 2nd Chapter Delay...

Feb 19, 2011

Hi there

So you know how I said the 2nd chapter was due Feb/March? Well as usual life happened and I actually buried my comic pages under my pile of other work and forgot they were there. I've just found them again and am continuing drawing. I think also I may end up updating with just line-art pages and replacing them with coloured pages later on, just so that something actually gets updated.

I'm not sure what's wrong with my onlinecomic submission because they've never gotten back to me so I'm trying again. Hopefully it'll work this time, >.<#.

Laters! In the mean time if you're looking for something amusing check out Hyperbole and a Half it's ridiculously funny!

Introduction to Wraith's Keeper

Oct 4, 2009

This comic has been many years in the making. When I was in high school I loved the fantastic characters, supernatural adventures and gripping stories I found in Graphic Novels and Manga. Being very young I decided, ‘Right! I’m going to make one of those’, not realising what I was getting into. There is a lot you simply take for granted when you read comics, like the fact that it’s a great deal harder being the writer, penciller, inker, letterer and colourist all in one. That pages are carefully crafted and designed. That publications are done in spreads, and webcomics in singles.

Needless to say I have learned a huge amount on this project, so much so that at times it almost feels like I need to start all over again from scratch!

This is early days. I've finally got the first chapter coloured and some sort of a system going. I can see it being redrawn once the first book is finished. But hopefully the next chapter onwards I can focus more on the pages once course is finished.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of audience it has and once I have a response system of some kind, like a guest book it'd be great to hear what people think.
